Age of War 2 is Louissi’s definitive 2010 tug-of-war strategy sequel. Advance through seven distinct civilizational epochs from the Stone Age to Cybernetic warfare, balance melee and ranged unit compositions, mount defensive turrets, and invoke apocalyptic God powers.

Controls and army management

Every unit costs gold; every kill grants gold and XP. Balancing the income economy between base defenses and forward assault waves determines survival on Insane difficulty.

Seven epochs of civilization

Turret synergy and base defense

Build turrets early: Defensive turrets earn their cost back quickly by thinning enemy hordes before they hit your units. Add secondary and tertiary turret slots before advancing eras.

Stack high-pierce turrets at the bottom slot and rapid-fire or anti-armor artillery in higher slots for overlapping coverage.

God powers and screen-clearing tactics

Each epoch features a devastating celestial or technological God power. Save your God power for massive stacked enemy waves rather than firing it on isolated scouts.
