What the sequel changes

The knock-off-the-stage rule stays, but the sequel wraps it in a 16-stage campaign with its own rivals and arenas. Custom weapon loads and perk trees let you build for speed, power or recovery, and environmental hazards like collapsing platforms can decide a round without a shot fired.

Loadout tips

Build perks around the stage: recovery perks shine on small platforms with collapsing edges, while knockback perks win wide open arenas. In campaign stages, read where the hazard triggers before engaging, because luring a rival onto collapsing ground does the work for you.
