The goal

Unlike the ramp launches of the earlier games, Learn to Fly 3 is about vertical rocketry: assemble a rocket from stages and parts, launch straight up, and punch through the atmospheric layers as high as your build allows. Earn launch cash, buy better parts, and rebuild until the rocket leaves the sky behind.

Building tips

Balance thrust against weight: a rocket that barely lifts wins over one that burns out at speed. Steer gently, because tipping too far sideways wastes the vertical speed that carries you through each layer, and upgrade stages in the order your launches keep failing at.
